It will keep up to 1 month in an airtight container in the fridge. We prefer to use a simple mason jar. You probably already have several in your cabinet.

Tips for the Best Hot Fudge:

  • Chocolate Variation – Change the chocolate to what you prefer. Milk chocolate chips and dark chocolate chips are some of our favorites.
  • Charcuterie Board – Add this hot fudge topping and make a charcuterie board. Fruit, pretzel and marshmallows are all great to dip in this homemade sauce.
  • Thicken Sauce – To thicken the sauce, you may need to leave the sauce on the heat a little longer. As the sauce cools, it will thicken.
  • Vanilla – If you prefer, you can stir in vanilla extract for added flavor.
