17, 1999, in Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 2, 1938, in Shelbyville, he was the son of William Donald and Connie Nading. A truck driver, Nading was a Coast Guard veteran and a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Sharon (Spears) Nading: his mother of Hialeah, two sons, Ray Nading of Stewart, and Lee Nading of Robinson; eight daughters, Beth Nading of Florida.

Ogalsbee, 80, Lawrenceville, died at 10:45 p.m. CST Sunday, Jan. 17, 1999, in Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville. Born Dec. 15, 1918, in Lawrence Township, Lawrence County, he was the son of Linus E.

and Hazel (Hawley) Ogalsbee. An Army veteran of the Pacific theater of operations during World War II, Ogalsbee was a member of American Legion Post 62 in Bridgeport. He had retired from the Marathon Oil Co. His wife, Velma (Brexson) Ogalsbee, died Aug. 28, 1994.

Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Ogalsbee of Mount Carmel; five sisters, Grace Crewell of Bridgeport, Agnes Wingert of Tunas, Catherine Snodgrass of Mattoon, Vera Edge of Springfield and Mary Alice Gullion of Mount Pulaski; and two brothers, Phillip Ogalsbee of Tunas, and Delmer Ogalsbee of Florence, Mo. CST today, Jan. 18, 1999, at Crawford Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 12, 1922, in Robinson, she was the daughter of Andrew and Ethel (Dillman) Stevens. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Her first husband, Jess Fisher was killed in action in World War II. Her second husband, Clarence Dunlap, whom she married on June 8, 1945, died June 18, 1990. Two stepdaughters, two stepsons, two brothers, three sisters, two half-brothers and two half-sisters: are also deceased. Survivors include two stepdaughters, Fern Beard of Robinson and Nora Ellen Kirts of Sumner; a stepson, Larry Don Dunlap of Robinson; two sisters, Rosella Hulse of Marion, and Vernice Jackson of Van Nuys, a granddaughter; and six stepgrandchildren. EST Saturday, Jan. 16, 1999, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. Born Dec. 12, 1914, in rural Robinson, she was the daughter of John R. and Nellie (Reynolds) Crum.

A member of Grace United Methodist Church of rural Palestine, for many years she had been a cook in several Crawford County restaurants. Her husband, Clarence Seaney, whom she married June 3, 1933, died Aug. 7, 1986. Four sisters and two brothers are also deceased. Survivors include two sons, Harold Seaney of Patoka, and John Seaney of Palestine; two daughters, Cheryl Bruner of Indianapolis and Linda Rich of Robinson; four sisters, Caroline Bailey of Palestine, Mary Perkins of Oblong, Cora Sechrest of Chenoa and Lila Zalewski of Whiteboro, N.Y.; eight grandchildren, 17 greatgrandchildren and two great great-great-grandchildren.

Knox safety forces Man injured while trying to stop burglary suspects The following comes from reports provided by the Vincennes and Knox County police departments. Charges not involving warrants are preliminary and may be changed before formal filing by the prosecutor's office.

A Vincennes man apparently caught three men in the act of burglarizing his home and was slightly injured when he tried to stop them. Larry J. Brown, 1030 College told police at 9:23 a.m. Saturday that someone had gained entry to his home. Lawrence safety forces When Brown was walking to his bedroom, he heard a noise.

After he opened a bedroom door, Brown was struck by a large amount 1 of change that had been wrapped in a towel. Three white males, about 18 years old, wearing blue jeans and tennis shoes, then ran out of the bedroom and attempted to exit through a kitchen door. Brown grabbed the ankles of one of the men which caused the man to dropped the money that was wrapped in the towel. When Brown grabbed the man, Brown fell on top of the kitchen table, causing it to break. Medical personnel treated Brown at the scene.

Accident A sport-utility vehicle driven by Sara J. Lankford, 28, Bruceville, overturned at 11 p.m. Saturday on Camp Arthur Road, about 4.4 miles north of Vincennes. Lankford suffered a bruise on her head but refused medical treatment at the scene. The vehicle was northbound on Camp Arthur Road and after rounding a curve, its tires went off the edge of the road.

The vehicle was steered back onto the road, went across the center and went off the left side. Damage was estimated between $750 and $1,000. Theft from vehicle Patrick A. Rinehart, 1314 N. Fourth Apt.

16, told police that between 6 p.m. Friday and 1:56 p.m. Saturday, someone entered his vehicle while it was parked at his apartment complex. A case containing 100 compact discs was stolen. An attempt was made to steal an AM-FM compact disc player.

Buster Bleu Green, 20, Lawrenceville, and Jason William Swain, 19, no address available, were arrested by the Sumner Police Department at 12:53 a.m. CST Sunday. Gregory D. Purcell, 50, 1212 McCormick has been charged with bodily injury, battery, two counts of battery on a police officer, and resisting arrest. City police were first alerted to potential problems at 9:07 p.m. when a caller from the Purcell's McCormick Avenue address called headquarters and asked to speak to an officer. After being informed that an officer was not on station, the caller said he would take care of it himself and hung up.

Captain Mike Healy returned the call and was told that the caller did not want to speak to him and that officers should not come to the address as they would not be allowed in. At 9:48 p.m. police received a call from the Daviess County Hospital's Emergency Room. Emergency personnel were treating JoAnna Purcell for lacerations to the back of her head and the bridge of her nose. She told officers that her husband had beaten her.

The officers went to the McCormick Avenue address where they spoke with Greg Purcell. While at the residence, Purcell began to fight the officers as he was being arrested and in the process bit Patrolman Shawn Rout in the leg. Police employee Richie Tolliver also received a laceration on the hand. Rout and Tolliver were treated at Daviess County Hospital, but Purcell refused medical treatment. He is being held without bond at the Daviess County Security Center.

Sheriff deputies assisted city officers with the arrest. Other arrests Michael E. Osborne, 38, 710 Pine Court, Apt. 2, was arrested by city police at 9:32 p.m. Saturday on failure to appear warrants from both Daviess and Knox counties.

He is being held at the Daviess County Security Center on no bond. Steven D. Eller, 37, 509 W. VanTrees was arrested by sheriff's deputies at 5:16 p.m. Sunday.

Eller was charged with invasion of privacy, criminal mischief and carrying a handgun without a permit. Sheriff's deputies received three calls at 4:58 p.m. reporting that Eller had threatened a woman in Montgomery and was in the woman's backyard. The second caller reported that Eller had a gun and the third caller reported hearing shots fired on Main Street in Montgomery. Officers arrested Eller and transported him to the Daviess County Security Center where they requested help from city police officers as Eller had become very combative.

He is being held at the Security Center on no bond. Thomas G. Hudson, 36, Loogootee was arrested this morning by Indiana State Police and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He is being held at the Daviess County Security Center on $2,000 bond. Theft At 4:16 p.m.

Sunday, David Goble reported to city police that a had been stolen from his vehicle while parked at Fast Max convenience store, 1200 E. National Highway. At 4:45 p.m. Sunday, Kristen Underwood, 904 W. VanTrees reported that two men had attempted to break into her car.

Neighbors witnessed the attempt. At 5:11 p.m. Sunday, Albert Showalter, 1105. W. Walnut reported to city police that his Dodge Ram truck had been stolen.

The vehicle was located at 6:09 p.m. by sheriff's deputies on the Medical Clinic parking lot in Montgomery. All three incidents remain under investigation. Police reviewing accident that killed two teen-agers EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) Police are still investigating the weekend accident that claimed the lives of two honor students from Harrison High School.

The two died in a fiery crash early Saturday morning after their truck crossed the center line and hit a sport utility vehicle head-on. Killed were Jeremy Alexander Clouse, 17, and Patrick Bradley Johnston, 15. Both were sophom*ores. The two were in a Chevrolet S- 10 pickup truck at about 2 a.m. Saturday.

Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Department investigators said the teens were headed south on a two-lane road in Evansville when their truck crossed the center line and hit a northbound Chevrolet Blazer headWitnesses told police the pickup truck, driven by Clouse, immediately burst into flames.
